Welcoming a new baby into your family is one of life’s sweetest milestones. It’s also one of the busiest. If you’re looking for a Shreveport-Bossier full-service newborn photographer, my goal is to make your newborn photography experience simple, relaxing, and enjoyable from beginning to end.
Between sleepless nights, endless feedings, and learning your baby’s routine, the last thing you need is added stress. That’s why I’ve created a full-service experience that takes care of the details for you. From helping you choose what to wear to designing beautiful artwork for your home, I’ll guide you every step of the way so you can focus on soaking up these precious moments with your new baby.

A full-service newborn session is about much more than taking beautiful photographs.
It’s about creating an enjoyable experience that allows your family to relax while every detail is thoughtfully planned for you. From the moment you book until your finished artwork is displayed in your home, I’m here to make the entire process feel effortless.

One of the biggest questions new moms ask is, “What am I going to wear?”
The good news is you don’t have to spend time shopping for the perfect outfit.
I offer a carefully curated client wardrobe filled with beautiful, flattering dresses that photograph beautifully. Every dress is chosen to complement postpartum moms while creating a timeless look you’ll still love years from now.
If you’d like to make your day even more relaxing, you can also add professional hair and makeup to your session.

I work with talented hair and makeup artists who create natural, polished looks that photograph beautifully. It’s the perfect opportunity to be pampered for a few hours while someone else takes care of you.
Many moms tell me this becomes one of their favorite parts of the experience.
After choosing your dress, I’ll help coordinate outfits for Dad and any older children. Simple, neutral clothing without busy patterns keeps the focus exactly where it belongs—on your family and your newest little love.

A few days before your session, I’ll send you a detailed preparation guide so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
Inside, you’ll find helpful suggestions like feeding your baby shortly before leaving for the studio and trying to keep them awake for a little while beforehand. Sometimes those tips help babies arrive sleepy and ready to snuggle.
Of course, every baby is different.
Over the years, I’ve learned that babies have their own schedules, and that’s perfectly okay. I always allow plenty of time for feedings, soothing, diaper changes, and cuddles throughout your session.
The goal is never to rush your baby.
Instead, my goal is to create a calm, relaxed experience for your entire family.

Your newborn session includes so much more than portraits of your baby alone.
We’ll begin with family portraits while everyone is fresh and older siblings are excited to participate.
Next, we’ll photograph Mom with baby, Dad with baby, siblings together, and finally your sweet newborn by themselves.
These family portraits often become the images parents treasure most because they beautifully capture the connection between everyone during this incredible season.
If you have a meaningful family heirloom you’d like to include, I always encourage you to bring it along. A handmade quilt, heirloom blanket, special piece of jewelry, or another sentimental item adds even more meaning to your gallery.

After your session, we’ll take a short break so you can feed your baby, get everyone dressed, and settle in before your ordering appointment.
This is often everyone’s favorite part of the experience.
You’ll get to see your images the very same day.
I honestly get just as excited as my clients because I can’t wait to reveal everything we’ve created together. There are often happy tears, big smiles, and comments about how tiny your baby already looks.
During your ordering appointment, we’ll go through your gallery together and choose your favorite images.
You’ll also have the opportunity to select beautiful heirloom artwork for your home.
Whether you choose a stunning canvas for your wall or one of my handcrafted oak keepsake boxes, I’ll help you create something your family will enjoy every single day instead of leaving your memories stored on a hard drive.

Working with a Shreveport-Bossier full-service newborn photographer is about so much more than beautiful photographs.
It’s about feeling cared for from the moment you inquire until your finished artwork is hanging on your walls.
You won’t have to worry about what to wear, how to prepare, or what happens after your session. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned so you can relax and enjoy your growing family.
Those first few weeks with your baby pass by so quickly.
Years from now, my hope is that you’ll look back at these photographs and remember not only how tiny your baby was, but also how deeply they were loved from the very beginning.

If you’re expecting and searching for a Shreveport-Bossier full-service newborn photographer, I’d love to help you preserve this incredible season of life.
Together, we’ll create timeless portraits, meaningful artwork, and memories your family will treasure for generations.
