As a branding photographer in Shreveport, I love creating fun fashion sessions that help boutique brands connect with their audience. For this shoot, we partnered with Sweet Southern Grace to create bold and colorful content in downtown Shreveport.
The goal of this session was simple. We wanted to showcase stylish, confidence-boosting tween fashion in a fresh and playful way. In addition, the shoot featured popular brands like Lola & the Boys, Azarnia, and BelleCher.
Styling Confidence from Head to Toe
Each girl brought her own personality to the session. Likewise, every outfit added something unique to the overall look and feel of the shoot.
Sweet Southern Grace styled each model from head to toe. As a result, every outfit felt bright, bold, and full of movement. The looks were trendy while still staying playful and age-appropriate.
Some of the featured styles included:
- A silver metallic skirt with pink puff sleeves
- A rainbow fringe skirt with bold accessories
- A lavender embellished dress with ruffled sleeves
- A hot pink mini skirt with a “Totally Cute” tee and metallic boots
- A black sequin dress with a feather vest
- A soft denim-and-tee combo with gold details
Every outfit was carefully selected to highlight confidence, comfort, and personality. Most importantly, the clothing allowed each tween to express her own style in a fun way.
Downtown Shreveport as the Perfect Backdrop
To match the energy of the clothing, we chose downtown Shreveport for the session location. The area gave us rooftops, textured brick walls, sidewalks, and urban charm. Because of that, the colorful outfits stood out beautifully against the neutral backgrounds.
In addition, the natural light reflected perfectly off the buildings. This created a clean and polished editorial look. At the same time, the session still felt approachable and fun.
Tween Style That Empowers
Although the fashion was stunning, the heart of this session was confidence. Each girl showed up ready to have fun and be herself. As the session continued, their personalities truly came to life in front of the camera.
